Nationally there are 400 places available. Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Southampton and Warwick universities have 50 places each, and there are 150 places in London (LSE/UCL). Should the number of applications exceed the number of places available, the participating universities will offer places based upon the selection criteria and the information provided on the application form.
Applications for Cohort #6, which commences in October/November 2012, will open later this year. You must apply on the official Pathways to Law application form which will be available from this page. The application must be completed in paper form and posted to the relevant address. Electronic and scanned applications will not be accepted.
Current Application Status
Bristol – NOT OPEN
Leeds – NOT OPEN
London (LSE/UCL) – NOT OPEN
Manchester – NOT OPEN
Southampton – NOT OPEN
West Midlands (Warwick) – NOT OPEN
Please note that you must only complete ONE Pathways application. Multiple applications will void all applications submitted. If you’re applying to the London programme and your application is successful, you will be allocated a place at either LSE or UCL.
Once complete, the application form should be sent to the appropriate programme centre for consideration. This will be the centre closest to your normal term-time residence, and no more than 50 miles away. The addresses can be found on the last page of the application form.
Places on the ‘Pathways to Law’ programme will not be confirmed by the universities until after the publication of GCSE results in August 2012.
Checks will be undertaken to verify certain key information provided on the form and any applications considered fraudulent either during or after the selection process may result in students being asked to leave the programme.
Please note that selection for the Pathways to Law programme does not constitute a subsequent guarantee of an offer for a degree programme at any of the Pathways institutions, either at the conclusion of the Pathways programme or at any future time.
Places on the Pathways programme are subject to regular contact with mentors, and continued attendance and participation in the events provided. Infrequent contact with mentors and/or a lack of attendance at events without due notice and/or valid reason may result in you being asked to leave the programme.
